Plant Screening for ECS Modulatory Activity

In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Jürg Gertsch at the University of Bern’s Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, screen existing libraries of medical plants to identify compounds that may impact ECS activity.

New Compound Discovery and Synthesis

In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University School of Pharmacy, Institute for Drug Research, synthesize novel compounds that show increased efficacy over existing phytocannabinoids in targeting specific elements of the ECS.

In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Tamás Bíró at the University of Debrecen, Department of Immunology, assess whether certain combinations of selected phytocannabinoids exert increased potencies over the effects of the individual agents.
