THC Mechanisms of Action
In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Cecilia Hillard at the Medical College of Wisconsin, explore the means by which certain compounds may potentiate behavioral and physiological effects of THC.
Plant Screening for ECS Modulatory Activity
In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Jürg Gertsch at the University of Bern’s Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, screen existing libraries of medical plants to identify compounds that may impact ECS activity.
Bern’s Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine
New Compound Discovery and Synthesis
In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University School of Pharmacy, Institute for Drug Research, synthesize novel compounds that show increased efficacy over existing phytocannabinoids in targeting specific elements of the ECS.

Cannabinoid Synergies
In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Tamás Bíró at the University of Debrecen, Department of Immunology, assess whether certain combinations of selected phytocannabinoids exert increased potencies over the effects of the individual agents.

CB1 Receptor Expression
In collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Cecilia Hillard at the Medical College of Wisconsin, explore the effect of a particular botanical compound on CB1 receptor expression and on the ECS.
